Engine overhaul involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning and repairing various parts of the engine like cylinder heads, Pistons, connecting rods, Turbo charger etc.
Scope of work :
Cylinder heads dismantling work, inspection and cleaning of exhaust valve and case, inlet valves, valve guides, seats lapping/grinding, safety valves, cleaning of combustion area.
Cylinder liner - Inspection and inside diameter measurement to be carried out . If wear found more than specified limit by manufacturer it should be replaced by reusable or new one.
Piston - Piston cleaning, inspection and groove height measurements, Piston rings are to be change.
Connecting rods - Piston pin and connecting rod big end cleaning and measurements for whether it is in reusable condition or not.
Inspection and measurements of small end bush.
CR bearing to be replace by new one.
CR pin inspection and measurements.
Crankshaft deflation to be check.
Inspection and cleaning of turbochargers.
Inspection and cleaning of all connected pipe lines to the engine .
We assume condition of crankshaft in reusable condition.
For disassembling and assembling of the engine special tools to be provided by company.
